Throughout the first quarter of 2024, the top 5 horror games on iOS in Germany exhibited diverse trends in weekly downloads, revenue, and active users. Here’s a closer look at the performance of each game, based on data from Sensor Tower.
The Baby In Yellow from Team Terrible experienced notable fluctuations in its weekly downloads, starting strong with over 10.6K downloads in the first week of January, but gradually declining to around 3.8K by late February. However, a slight recovery was observed towards the end of March, reaching approximately 4.3K downloads. The game’s weekly revenue showed a peak of $67 in the second week of January, followed by a gradual decrease to around $9 by mid-March. Active users saw a decrease from 45.4K in early January to around 25.7K in mid-March, with a slight uptick to 27.5K by the end of the quarter.
Granny by Dennis Vukanovic maintained a relatively steady download rate, starting with 5K downloads in the first week and experiencing a dip mid-quarter, but closing strong with nearly 4.9K downloads in the final week of March. Active users fluctuated but showed a recovery from 22.6K in January to over 20.6K by the end of the quarter.
Scary Teacher 3D from GenITeam LLC had a consistent performance in weekly downloads, peaking at around 4.2K in the first week of January and ending the quarter with a similar figure. Revenue trends were modest, peaking at $82 in mid-January and gradually decreasing to around $13 by the end of March. Active users remained relatively stable, starting at 28.6K in January and ending the quarter at 28.3K.
Hello Neighbor by tinyBuild LLC showed a steady download rate, starting at 2.4K in the first week of January and maintaining similar numbers throughout the quarter, closing with 2.4K downloads in the last week of March. Weekly revenue peaked at $290 in the final week of March. Active users showed slight fluctuations, starting at 9.2K in January and peaking at 9.7K by the end of the quarter.
Mystery Matters from Playrix saw a decline in weekly downloads from 6.1K in early January to around 2.2K by the end of March. Despite this, the game’s weekly revenue remained relatively strong, peaking at $23.3K in late January and ending the quarter at $14.6K. Active users showed a decrease from 13K in early January to around 12.1K by the end of March.
