The first quarter of 2024 saw notable activity among the top MMORPG apps on iOS in Australia. Here's a detailed look into the performance of Soul Of Ring, Albion Online, Diablo Immortal, Old School RuneScape, and NIGHT CROWS.
Soul Of Ring from Eagle Information Technology Limited, launched in early March, started strong with 8.6K downloads in its first week. However, downloads dwindled to 507 by the end of the month. The app did not generate significant revenue in its initial weeks.
Albion Online from Sandbox Interactive GmbH showed consistent weekly revenue, peaking at approximately $1.2K in mid-March. Downloads hovered around 500-800 each week, while active users saw a gradual decline from 1.4K to 1K over the quarter.
Diablo Immortal by Blizzard Entertainment, Inc. experienced substantial revenue fluctuations, starting the year at $24.7K, dipping to $13.4K, and then rising to $30.9K by late March. Weekly downloads remained relatively stable around 400-500, while active users decreased from 13.5K to 11.1K.
Old School RuneScape from Jagex maintained steady revenue, averaging around $5K weekly, with a slight dip in late January. Downloads remained consistent around 300-400, and active users fluctuated between 3K and 3.3K.
NIGHT CROWS by Wemade Co., Ltd., launched in mid-March, showed strong initial revenue of $23.9K, declining to $12.7K by the end of the month. Downloads started at 1.9K and decreased to 425 in the same period.
