In the first quarter of 2024, the leading music and podcast apps on iOS in Lithuania showcased diverse trends in weekly downloads, revenue, and active users. Here’s a closer look at the performance of the top 5 apps according to Sensor Tower data.
YouTube Music from Google experienced a consistent revenue stream with weekly figures fluctuating between $1.6K and $2.2K. The app saw a steady download rate, maintaining around 600 downloads per week. Active users showed a gradual increase, starting at 21.8K and reaching 23.3K by the end of March.
TIDAL Music: HiFi Sound by TIDAL Music AS had a varied revenue trend, peaking at $682 in early February and closing the quarter at $543. Downloads were relatively low, with a peak of 126 in the first week of February. Active user numbers remained stable, with minor fluctuations around the 1.1K mark.
Deezer: Music Player, Podcast from DEEZER SA showed modest revenue growth, starting at $350 and peaking at $413 in mid-March. Download numbers were low but saw a slight uptick towards the end of the quarter, reaching 43 in the last week of March. Active users saw a gradual decline from 427 to 328 over the quarter.
SoundCloud: Discover New Music by SoundCloud Global Limited & Co KG demonstrated robust performance with revenue increasing to $468 in mid-March. Downloads remained strong, peaking at 591 in early March. The app maintained a high number of active users, averaging around 267K throughout the quarter.
TuneIn Radio: Music & Sports from TuneIn showed fluctuating revenue, peaking at $309 in early February. Downloads were sporadic, with a notable peak of 89 in early March. Active users saw a rise from 255 to 358 in early March, before stabilizing at 229 by the end of the quarter.
