In the first quarter of 2024, the top 5 personal finance budgeting and planning applications on iOS in Mexico showed varied performance trends. Here’s a closer look at their weekly downloads, revenue, and active user metrics.
Profuturo Móvil saw a steady number of weekly downloads, starting at around 3.9K in the first week of January and peaking at 4.8K in the second week. However, downloads slightly declined towards the end of the quarter, reaching approximately 3.2K by the last week of March. The app maintained a consistent number of weekly active users, starting at 49.2K and peaking at 52.3K in early March.
Baobap had a fluctuating download trend, beginning with 716 downloads in the first week of January and reaching a high of 4.3K in mid-March. This app did not generate any revenue during the quarter, but it gained significant traction in terms of user base.
Splitwise experienced a notable increase in weekly revenue, peaking at approximately $1.5K in the final week of March. Weekly downloads showed an upward trend mid-quarter, reaching 2.9K in the last week. Active users were relatively stable, starting at 3.9K and maintaining similar numbers throughout the quarter.
Kueski: Fair Money Loan App had a variable download rate, starting with 2.7K downloads in early January but dropping significantly to 220 by the end of March. Similar to Baobap, this app did not generate any revenue during the quarter.
Lastly, Banregio had the least number of weekly downloads among the top 5, with a maximum of 474 in mid-January and a low of 149 in the third week of March. The app did not generate any revenue in this period.
