The first quarter of 2024 has been an interesting period for tycoon games on the iOS platform in the United States. Sensor Tower has provided a detailed overview of the top games in this category, highlighting their performance in terms of downloads, revenue, and weekly active users.

Playrix's Township saw its revenue peaking mid-January at nearly $3.4M before settling around the $2.5M to $2.8M range towards March. Downloads spiked to over 300K in late February, while weekly active users fluctuated, ending the quarter just above 500K.

My Perfect Hotel by SayGames LTD experienced a decline in revenue starting at $129K and dipping to around $68K by the end of the quarter. Downloads followed a similar downward trend, starting at approximately 270K and dropping to around 126K. Weekly active users started strong at around 890K but also saw a gradual decline, stabilizing at just over 580K.

Family Island — Farming game from Melsoft also had a noteworthy quarter, with revenue oscillating and hitting a high of $894K in late February. Downloads saw a gradual decrease, with a slight uptick towards the end of March. Weekly active users stayed consistent, hovering around the 190K mark for most of the quarter.
