In Q1 2024, the top five utility applications on the iOS platform in Switzerland demonstrated diverse performance metrics. Here’s a closer look at the weekly downloads, revenue, and active user trends for these apps, based on Sensor Tower data.
Google saw a steady performance in weekly downloads, starting with approximately 8K downloads in early January and peaking at around 9.6K in mid-January. However, the downloads tapered off, reaching about 6.8K by the end of March. The app maintained a consistent active user base, fluctuating slightly from around 380K to 376K throughout the quarter.
AGOV access showed a significant increase in weekly downloads, starting from just 8 downloads in the first week of January and climbing to over 10K by the end of March. This rapid growth highlights the app's rising popularity within the quarter.
Microsoft Edge: AI Browser experienced variable weekly downloads, starting at 3.1K in early January and peaking at 6.4K in mid-March. The app generated some revenue, with a notable increase to $172 in early February. Active users steadily grew from approximately 122K to 150K over the quarter.
Google Chrome maintained a relatively stable download rate, starting at 4.3K in early January and ending at around 3.8K in late March. The active user count remained consistent, fluctuating slightly around the 337K mark throughout the quarter.
The Swiss Post App had a moderate download performance, with figures ranging from 3.7K in early January to approximately 3.4K in late March. The number of active users showed a minor decline from around 12K to 11K during the same period.
