In the first quarter of 2024, the top 5 gacha games in the United States demonstrated impressive performance across various metrics. Here’s a closer look at their weekly downloads, revenue, and active users, based on data from Sensor Tower.
Whiteout Survival from Century Games Pte. Ltd. showed strong weekly revenue, peaking at approximately $5.7M in the last week of March. Weekly downloads fluctuated, starting at 193K in early January and settling at around 165K by the end of March. The game also saw a consistent rise in weekly active users, growing from around 925K at the beginning of January to over 1M by the end of the quarter.
Last War:Survival from FirstFun experienced a remarkable increase in weekly revenue, reaching approximately $6.3M in the final week of March. Weekly downloads, however, showed a decline from 317K in early January to about 176K by the end of March. Weekly active users saw a peak of around 519K in late February before stabilizing at approximately 473K by the end of the quarter.
RAID: Shadow Legends by Plarium Global Ltd maintained a steady revenue stream, peaking at around $3.4M in late January. Weekly downloads were relatively stable, with a notable increase to 58K in mid-March. Weekly active users remained consistent, hovering around 150K throughout the quarter.
Age of Origins:Tower Defense from Hong Kong Ke Mo software Co., Limited saw weekly revenue peak at approximately $2.5M in late February. Weekly downloads showed a decline from 87K in early January to 46K by the end of March. Weekly active users also declined, starting at 236K in early January and decreasing to around 167K by the end of the quarter.
Puzzles & Survival by BUILDING-BLOCKS NETWORK TECHNOLOGY CO.,LIMITED showed steady weekly revenue, peaking at approximately $2.1M in mid-March. Weekly downloads saw a gradual decline from 63K in early January to around 40K by the end of March. Weekly active users remained stable, averaging around 152K throughout the quarter.
