In Q1 2024, the top 5 social networking apps in the Netherlands showed varied performance trends in weekly downloads, revenue, and active users. Here’s a detailed look at their performance based on Sensor Tower data.
Grindr - Gay Dating & Chat from Grindr LLC experienced a steady increase in weekly revenue, peaking at around $44.7K in the week of February 19. Weekly downloads hovered between 842 and 976, with a slight peak in the same week. Active users fluctuated mildly, maintaining an average around 19K throughout the quarter.
Azar - Video Chat by Hyperconnect LLC saw a peak in weekly revenue of approximately $24.3K in mid-February. The app’s weekly downloads ranged from 1K to 1.7K, with active users showing a declining trend from 13.6K to 11.8K by the end of March.
BIGO LIVE-Live Stream, Go Live from BIGO TECHNOLOGY PTE. LTD. had its highest weekly revenue at about $33.6K in mid-February. Weekly downloads varied between 3.5K to 5K, while active users remained relatively stable around the 28K mark.
Discord - Talk, Play, Hang Out by Discord, Inc. showed strong performance with weekly revenue peaking at $28.4K in mid-February. The app maintained a robust weekly download rate of around 11K to 13.5K. Active users saw an upward trend, starting at 857K and peaking at 924K in mid-March.
Yubo : Make friends, live chat from Twelve APP exhibited a significant increase in weekly revenue, reaching approximately $15.5K in mid-March. Weekly downloads fluctuated between 1.2K and 2K, while active users showed a general decline from 37.6K to 32.3K by the end of the quarter.
