In Q2 2024, the top 5 cannabis games on the Android platform in the United States displayed a range of performance trends in downloads, revenue, and weekly active users. Here's a closer look at how each app fared during this period, based on data from Sensor Tower.
Hempire - Plant Growing Game from LBC Studios Inc. experienced fluctuations in revenue, starting at around $20K in early April and ending at approximately $15.6K in late June. Downloads peaked at 7.1K in late May, then declined to around 2.8K by the end of June. Weekly active users saw a high of 11.9K in early June, followed by a drop to 8.9K by the quarter's end.
Weed Inc: Idle Tycoon, published by Metamoki, showed a steady revenue trend, peaking at $10.5K in late May before dropping to $6.1K by the end of June. Downloads spiked at 8.9K in mid-April but gradually declined to about 2.2K by late June. Weekly active users also saw a peak of 23.8K in mid-April, decreasing to 13.9K by the end of Q2.
LDRLY Games' Bud Farm: Idle Tycoon maintained consistent revenue, reaching about $33.7K in late April and ending Q2 at $30.7K. Downloads fluctuated, peaking at 4.4K in mid-April and dropping to around 2.6K by late June. Weekly active users started at 21.8K in early April and saw a resurgence to 22.9K by the end of June.
Cheech and Chong Bud Farm, another title from LDRLY Games, saw a revenue peak of $39.1K in early April, decreasing to $25.2K by late June. Downloads peaked at 3.3K in mid-April but dropped significantly to almost zero by the end of the quarter. Weekly active users remained relatively stable, starting at 12.2K and ending at 8.5K.
Finally, Weed Factory Idle from Green Panda Games showed minimal revenue activity. Downloads peaked at 2.6K in early April and ended Q2 at 1.5K. Weekly active users saw a peak of 4.1K in mid-April and increased slightly to 2.8K by late June.
