In Q2 2024, the top 5 entertainment apps on the Android platform in Peru showcased notable trends in downloads, revenue, and active users. Here’s a detailed look at their performance:
TV360 by Bitel saw an impressive growth in weekly downloads, starting from 20.7K in early April and peaking at nearly 154K by the end of June. This surge was mirrored in its active users, which rose from 75.2K to 352.3K over the same period. Weekly revenue also climbed steadily, reaching $100 by the last week of June.
Max: Stream HBO, TV, & Movies maintained a consistent performance. Weekly downloads fluctuated, with a notable peak of 79.7K in late April. Active users steadily increased from 425.2K to 720.7K. Revenue showed a similar steady trend, peaking at $33K in mid-May and stabilizing around $27K by the end of June.
América tvGO experienced a significant spike in weekly downloads in June, reaching 158K from an initial 12.1K in early April. Active users followed this trend, jumping from 29.6K to 161.4K. The app's weekly revenue saw a notable increase in June, peaking at $2.8K.
DramaBox - Stream Drama Shorts showed varied performance. Weekly downloads peaked at 128K in early June but fell to 12K by the end of the month. Active users increased sharply in early June, reaching 149K, before declining to 81K. Revenue peaked at $11.7K in mid-June.
Netflix remained a strong contender with weekly downloads consistently ranging between 24K and 35K throughout the quarter. Active users, however, showed a slight decline from 1.74M in early April to 1.42M by the end of June.
