Top 5 Finance Apps on Android in Egypt Q2 2024

The second quarter of 2024 presented interesting dynamics in the performance of the top finance applications on the Android platform in Egypt. Here’s a closer look at the trends observed for the top five apps: InstaPay Egypt, Halan: Lending, BNPL, Payments, Mashreq Egypt, myfawry, and اورنچ كاش.

InstaPay Egypt experienced a consistent level of weekly downloads, peaking at approximately 133K in the first week of April and maintaining a strong presence throughout the quarter. Weekly active users for InstaPay Egypt showed some fluctuation but ended strong, increasing from around 1.4M to nearly 1.7M by the end of June.

Halan: Lending, BNPL, Payments showed an upward trend in weekly downloads, starting from 74K and peaking at over 108K in mid-June. Active users also saw a positive trend, growing from approximately 208K to 245K over the quarter.

Mashreq Egypt witnessed impressive growth in weekly downloads, with a notable peak of 98K in the last week of June. The app's active users followed a similar trend, rising from 73K at the beginning of the quarter to nearly 292K by the end.

myfawry maintained a steady rate of weekly downloads, hovering around 33K to 50K. The active users saw slight fluctuations but remained relatively stable, ending the quarter at around 453K.

Finally, اورنچ كاش displayed a stable download rate, with a minor peak of around 43K in mid-May. The app’s active users remained consistent, averaging around 70K to 78K throughout the quarter.
