Merge games have sustained their popularity into the second quarter of 2024, with a diverse array of titles capturing the attention of Android users in the US. Sensor Tower provides a closer look at the performance of these engaging apps during this period.
Idle Racer — Tap, Merge & Race kicked off with a strong start in downloads, peaking at nearly 50K in the second week of April, before experiencing a gradual decline to 14K by the end of May. However, downloads saw an uptick in June, closing the quarter with over 31K downloads. Weekly active users remained robust, starting at approximately 398K and surging to 480K by the quarter's end.
Merge War: Monster vs Cyberman downloads remained relatively stable, with a slight decline from 15K in early April to around 7K by late June. The weekly active user base showed a more notable decrease, starting at roughly 71K and dropping to 58K over the same period.
Happibits Game's Merge Cooking:Theme Restaurant experienced fluctuations in downloads, with a notable rise in May, reaching almost 18K. The active user count followed a similar pattern, with a peak of 116K in early May, before settling at 113K by the end of June.
Big Cake Apps' Merge Card Puzzle saw a gradual decrease in downloads from 17K to 7K throughout the quarter. Weekly active users started at 51K and experienced a slight dip to 45K by the quarter's conclusion.
Lastly, Love Paradise - Merge Makeover witnessed an increase in downloads from 3.5K to 12K during the quarter, with active users reaching a high of 100K in early May and slightly decreasing to 92K by the end of June.
