In the second quarter of 2024, the top 5 MOBA applications on the Android platform in Australia exhibited varied performance in terms of downloads, revenue, and weekly active users. Here’s a detailed look at each app’s metrics, based on data from Sensor Tower.
Squad Busters, released by Supercell in late May, saw an impressive revenue surge, starting from $16 in the week of May 6 to peaking at about $35.4K in the first week of June. Downloads followed a similar pattern, spiking to 71.8K in the week of May 27 and stabilizing around 21.7K by the end of June. Active users also saw a significant increase, reaching a high of 55.9K in late May before tapering off to 6.3K by the end of the quarter.
Brawl Stars, another title from Supercell, maintained a steady revenue stream, fluctuating between $14K and $28.4K throughout the quarter. Downloads showed a gradual increase, with weekly figures ranging from 2K to over 4K. Active users remained consistent, averaging around 250K weekly, with a slight peak at 269.7K in mid-June.
Mobile Legends: Bang Bang, by Moonton, experienced stable revenue, oscillating between $21.5K and $41.4K. Weekly downloads were relatively low but steady, ranging from 500 to 792. Active users hovered around 12K to 13.3K, showcasing a loyal player base.
Pokémon UNITE, published by The Pokémon Company, had modest revenue figures, peaking at $1.4K in mid-May. Downloads remained consistent, averaging 600-700 weekly. Active users were stable, averaging around 21K to 22K throughout the quarter.
Honor of Kings, released by Level Infinite in mid-June, showed promising early performance. Revenue in the final week of June was approximately $6.3K. Downloads were strong, with a notable increase from 2.7K in the week of June 17 to 4.1K in the subsequent week. Active users also grew, from 1.8K to 3.8K within the same period.
