In the second quarter of 2024, the top space games on the Android platform in the United States demonstrated varying trends in downloads, revenue, and active user engagement. This data, sourced from Sensor Tower, provides a comprehensive overview of the performance of these games.
Galaxiga Arcade Shooting Game from 1SOFT saw its revenue fluctuate, starting at approximately $53K in early April and peaking at around $59K by the end of the month before declining to about $47K by late June. Downloads also varied, beginning at 43.6K in early April, dipping to 25.4K in mid-May, and rebounding slightly to 32K by the end of June. Weekly active users started at 175K, dipped to 140K in May, and then gradually improved to 146K by the end of the quarter.
Solar Smash by Paradyme Games experienced a relatively stable revenue stream, maintaining around $700 per week, with minor fluctuations. Downloads ranged from 31.5K in early April, peaking at 38.5K by the end of the month, and then declining to 25.8K by the end of June. Weekly active users grew from 193K in early April to 212K by the end of the month but tapered off to 178K by the end of June.
Alien Invasion: RPG Idle Space from CrazyLabs LTD showed robust revenue performance, starting at around $91K and peaking at $99K in late April, before ending the quarter at $82K. Downloads saw a significant spike to 54.7K in late April but generally hovered around the 24K to 33K range for the rest of the quarter. Weekly active users were strong, starting at 305K, peaking at 368K at the end of April, and maintaining around 337K by the end of June.
Galaxy Attack: Shooting Game, another title from 1SOFT, had its revenue peak at $55K in late April before settling around $47K by the end of June. Downloads ranged from 29.7K in early April, peaking at 33.1K in late April, and then fluctuating around 28.5K by late June. Weekly active users started at 208K, peaked at 217K in late April, and maintained a steady level around 209K by the end of June.
Space shooter - Galaxy attack, also from 1SOFT, experienced a revenue peak of $62K in early April, then fluctuated between $30K to $45K for the remainder of the quarter. Downloads started at 34.4K in early April, dropped to 19.2K in early May, and ended the quarter at 20.1K. Weekly active users started at 172K, decreased to 130K in mid-May, and further dropped to 127K by the end of June.
