In the second quarter of 2024, adventure games on iOS in Austria saw varying performance trends. The data, sourced from Sensor Tower, provides insights into the top 5 adventure games: Solo Leveling:Arise, Wuthering Waves, Brain Test 4: Tricky Friends, Super Mario Run, and The Sims™ FreePlay.
Solo Leveling:Arise by Netmarble Corporation had a strong start with over 11K downloads in its launch week. However, downloads dropped significantly in the following weeks, stabilizing at around 400-700 per week in June. Revenue peaked at nearly $19.5K in the first week and then gradually decreased, ending the quarter at around $4.8K. Despite the decline in downloads and revenue, weekly active users saw a resurgence in June, growing from 7.3K to 9.4K.
Wuthering Waves by KURO GAMES had a notable launch with 12.3K downloads and $10.1K in revenue in its first week. Downloads, however, quickly tapered off, dropping to just over 100 by the end of June. Revenue followed a similar pattern, peaking at $23.3K in early June before declining to $6.4K. Active users decreased steadily from 11.8K to just under 3K by the end of the quarter.
Brain Test 4: Tricky Friends from UNICO STUDIO maintained a consistent performance throughout the quarter. Downloads hovered around 500-600 per week, with a notable spike to 675 in the final week of June. Revenue remained stable, fluctuating between $44 and $103 weekly. Active users consistently ranged from 4.2K to 5K, peaking at 5K in the last week of June.
Super Mario Run by Nintendo Co., Ltd. experienced steady but modest downloads, averaging around 300-400 per week. Revenue ranged from $103 to $272 weekly, with the highest revenue seen in mid-April. Active users remained relatively stable throughout the quarter, fluctuating between 1.6K and 2K.
The Sims™ FreePlay from Electronic Arts showed consistent downloads, averaging around 300-350 per week. Revenue peaked at $2.4K at the beginning of June but experienced a decline to $916 by the end of the month. Active users remained stable, fluctuating between 2.3K and 2.5K throughout the quarter.
