In Q2 2024, the dance game category on iOS saw a mix of trends across top apps. Data from Sensor Tower highlights the performance of these applications in terms of downloads, revenue, and weekly active users.
Starting with Just Dance Now by Ubisoft, the app showed a strong start in April with revenues peaking at $140K and downloads reaching 238K. Weekly active users hit a high of 410K, but all metrics experienced a downward trend by June, with revenue at $75K, downloads at 126K, and active users at 263K.
Coco Play's Dance Clash: Ballet vs Hip Hop had a steady performance in downloads, peaking at 54K in early April and ending with 52K in late June. The weekly active users varied, reaching a high of 100K in the second week of April, but with no reported revenue.
Another Coco Play title, Ice Skating Ballerina, showed modest download numbers, starting at 44K in April and seeing an increase to 38K by the end of June. Active user counts saw a drop to zero in late May and early June, with a slight recovery to 47K by the end of the quarter.
The downloads for Acrobat Star Show remained low throughout the quarter, with the highest at 10K in late April. There were no active user data reported for this title, and it generated no revenue.
Lastly, Hip Hop Battle - Girls vs Boys saw minimal downloads throughout the quarter, with a small spike in early June to 7K. Revenue was consistent but modest, ranging from $10K to $18K per week, with the quarter ending at $16K.
