In the second quarter of 2024, the dragon game genre has seen varied performance across different titles on the iOS platform in the United States. Sensor Tower provides detailed insights into how these games have fared in terms of downloads, revenue, and weekly active users.
Dragon City - Breed & Battle! by Socialpoint, showed a downward trend in revenue from $67M at the start of April to $26M by late June. Downloads peaked at 66K in early April but dropped to a low of 6K towards the end of June. Weekly active users started strong at 1.6M but also saw a decline, ending at 1.35M.
DianDian Interactive Holding's Dragonscapes Adventure experienced a revenue high of $92M in late May, with other weeks varying between $30M and $83M. Downloads remained relatively low, ranging from 1K to 28K, while weekly active users hovered around 200K to 238K throughout the quarter.
The newly released Dragon POW! by Boltray Games had an initial revenue of $16M, which fluctuated and eventually dropped to $1M by mid-June. The game's downloads and active users data are not available for the entire quarter, which may indicate a need for more time to establish a consistent user base.
Gram Games' Merge Dragons! saw its revenue moving between $43M and $51M in the early weeks of April and then dipping to as low as $9M in mid-May. Downloads were sparse, with several weeks reporting zero downloads, and active users remained stable, with minor fluctuations around the 40K mark.
Lastly, Call of Dragons from Farlight Games experienced a revenue increase towards mid-June, reaching $71M, despite starting the quarter at $63M. The game had minimal downloads throughout the period, and weekly active users showed slight variability, generally staying between 71K and 92K.
