In the second quarter of 2024, the top 5 historical games on iOS in the United States exhibited varying performance trends across downloads, revenue, and weekly active users. Here’s a closer look at how each game fared:
Royal Match from Dream Games saw significant revenue fluctuations, starting April with approximately $9.7M and peaking in mid-June at around $10.1M. Downloads fluctuated, beginning at 150K in early April and ending around 127K by late June. Weekly active users remained relatively stable, averaging around 820K throughout the quarter.
Bethesda's Fallout Shelter experienced a notable spike in revenue mid-April, reaching approximately $667K, but gradually declined to around $100K by late June. Downloads peaked mid-April at 150K and fell to about 38K by the end of June. Weekly active users followed a similar trend, starting at 41K in early April, peaking at 290K in late April, and dropping to 178K in late June.
Lilith Games’ Rise of Kingdoms maintained consistent revenue with highs of $1.1M in early April and June, though it experienced some dips, notably to $752K in late June. Downloads were relatively stable, peaking at 33K in late May. Weekly active users saw a peak of 275K in late April, before stabilizing around 168K by the end of June.
June’s Journey: Hidden Objects by wooga displayed steady revenue trends, starting at $1.3M in early April and maintaining similar levels throughout the quarter. Downloads varied, ranging from 17K to 37K, with a peak in mid-May. Weekly active users remained stable, averaging around 230K, with slight increases in mid-May.
Western Sniper: Wild West FPS by AI Games FZ exhibited no revenue but saw fluctuating download numbers, peaking at 27K in late April. Weekly active users showed similar trends, peaking at 35K in late April and stabilizing around 20K by the end of June.
