As the second quarter of 2024 comes to a close, the Idle RPG genre continues to captivate mobile gamers on the iOS platform. Sensor Tower provides a detailed look at the performance of the top five Idle RPG applications in the U.S., offering a glimpse into the trends and preferences of the gaming community.
Legend of Mushroom, developed by Joy Net Games, saw its revenue peak at $1.2M in early May, with downloads hitting a high of 422K in the first week of April. Weekly active users (WAU) reached their zenith in mid-May, boasting over 1.3M.
Azur Interactive Games Limited's Slime Castle - Idle TD entered the market in May and quickly gained traction, with revenue climbing to $355K by the end of the month. Downloads reached 603K in the second week of May, although the weekly active users data is not available for this title.
Hero Zero – Multiplayer RPG, from Playata GmbH, showed a strong revenue performance with $1.3M in the first week of April, but experienced a decline to $223K by the end of June. Downloads remained relatively stable, with a peak at 336K in the first week of April. The game's WAU data, however, was not provided.
AppQuantum Publishing's Legend of Slime: Idle RPG War maintained consistent revenue, with a notable increase to $410K in early June. Downloads were highest at 318K in the second week of April, and the game sustained a strong user base, with WAU peaking at 2.9M in early May.
Lastly, Idle Heroes - Idle Games by DHGames Limited, demonstrated impressive revenue growth, soaring to $3.2M in early June. The game saw a downloads high of 319K in mid-April, and its WAU peaked at 1.1M in late May.
