In the second quarter of 2024, the Idle RPG category on the iOS platform has seen a mix of trends among its top contenders. Insights from Sensor Tower highlight the performance of the top 5 apps in the United States market.
Legend of Mushroom by Joy Net Games saw a steady increase in weekly active users, climbing from 6K in the first week of April to over 13K by the end of June. Downloads peaked in June with 3.8K, while revenue also showed an upward trend, reaching a high of $19K in the first week of May.
Azur Interactive Games Limited's Slime Castle - Idle TD experienced a significant uptick in downloads, starting from a mere 2 in the last week of April to over 7K in the first week of June. Despite a lack of data on weekly active users, revenue for the game showed growth, with earnings of $3.8K by the end of June.
G-CONG NETWORK's Nobody's Adventure Chop-Chop witnessed a varied pattern, with downloads peaking mid-April at 6.1K before declining sharply to just 93 by the end of June. However, weekly active users remained fairly stable, ending the quarter with 2.4K active users. Revenue saw a mid-quarter high of $4.6K before settling to around $2K.
Idle Heroes - Idle Games from DHGames Limited maintained a consistent user base, with weekly active users hovering around 6K to 7K throughout the quarter. Downloads remained relatively stable with a slight increase to 728 in the final week of June. Revenue saw its peaks in April and June, reaching over $6K in the latter month.
Lastly, Tap Titans 2 - Hero Legends by Game Hive Corp. had a modest performance. Weekly active users showed a gentle decline from 1.6K in the first week of April to 1.8K in the final week of June. Downloads saw a mid-quarter spike with 1.2K in the first week of June, while revenue remained under $1K for most weeks, peaking at $648 mid-May.
