The second quarter of 2024 has been an interesting period for merge games on the iOS platform. Sensor Tower's latest data provides us with insights into how the top merge games have been performing in terms of downloads, revenue, and weekly active users.
Travel Town - Merge Adventure from Magmatic Games Ltd showed a fluctuating revenue pattern, with a peak of around $1.3M in late May, while downloads saw a high of 400K in the last week of June. The weekly active users for the game peaked at approximately 4.8K in the final week of June, indicating a strong end to the quarter.
Seaside Escape®: Merge & Story by Microfun Limited demonstrated a revenue trend with a notable spike to $1.1M in late April, but downloads dipped to 156K by the end of June. Weekly active users experienced a high of 1.7K in late May, showing a mixed pattern of engagement.
Another title from Microfun Limited, Gossip Harbor®: Merge & Story, saw its revenue climb to $1.1M in late June, with downloads reaching a high of 861K in early June. The game's weekly active users showed an upward trend, peaking at around 2.2K in the second week of June.
For Merge Dragons! by Gram Games, revenue reached its highest at $427K in mid-June, while downloads hovered around 71K in the last week of June. Weekly active users saw a small uptick, ending at 246 in the final week of the quarter.
Lastly, Merge Mansion from Metacore Games Oy had a revenue high of $526K in early May. Downloads for the game were modest, with a peak of 117K at the start of April. The weekly active users saw a decrease to just over 1K by the end of June.
