In Q2 2024, the top 5 MOBA applications on the iOS platform in Costa Rica exhibited varied performance in terms of downloads, revenue, and weekly active users. Here’s a closer look at how each app fared:
Squad Busters, developed by Supercell, showed a strong start with 27.7K downloads in the week of May 27, followed by a significant drop to around 1.3K by the end of June. Revenue peaked initially at approximately $9K and then fluctuated, ending at about $5K. Weekly active users saw a steep decline from 26.8K to just 746.
Brawl Stars, another Supercell title, maintained consistent performance throughout the quarter. Downloads remained steady, ranging between 2K to 4K weekly. Revenue varied, peaking at around $35K in late April and stabilizing at around $25K by the end of June. Weekly active users steadily increased, reaching over 40K in mid-June before slightly dropping to 39.7K at the quarter's end.
League of Legends: Wild Rift by Riot Games had modest download numbers, averaging around 100 per week. Revenue saw minor fluctuations, peaking at approximately $3.2K in early April and ending at about $1.5K. Weekly active users remained relatively stable, hovering around 1.5K throughout the quarter.
Mobile Legends: Bang Bang from Shanghai Moonton Technology Co., Ltd. experienced consistent but low download numbers, with a slight peak of 117 in mid-June. Revenue showed minor fluctuations, peaking at around $2.9K in early April and ending at about $1.7K. Weekly active users remained stable, averaging around 1.3K.
Honor of Kings by Level Infinite, released in late June, showed initial download numbers of 295, which then dropped to 116. Revenue was modest, peaking at approximately $600. Weekly active users were steady, averaging around 230.
