In Q2 2024, the top 5 squad RPG applications on iOS in Spain showcased diverse performance metrics. Here's a closer look at their performance in terms of downloads, revenue, and weekly active users (WAU).
AFK Journey from Farlight Games, released in late March, experienced a strong start. Revenue peaked at approximately $33K in mid-April but saw a decline to around $7.6K by the end of June. Downloads followed a similar downward trend, starting at 8.8K in early April and dropping to just over 400 by the end of the quarter. WAU initially spiked at over 18K but settled around 11.3K towards the end of June.
Hero Clash: Playtime Go by 9z Games(HK) showed varied results. Revenue reached its highest point at $2.1K in early May before decreasing to approximately $659 by the end of June. Downloads started strong with over 5.5K in early April but ceased entirely by early June. WAU began at nearly 11K in April, tapering off to about 4.5K by the end of the quarter.
Epic War:Aim and Throw from Genesis Network had a notable increase in revenue, peaking at around $2.1K in mid-June. Downloads were highest at 8K in early April but dwindled to zero by mid-June. WAU started robustly at nearly 24.5K in April, maintaining a steady level around 17.2K by the end of June.
SNK:All-Star Brawl by Jiu Zun Hu Yu Entertainment Technology Company Limitedc, launched at the end of May, had an initial download surge of nearly 9.8K but dropped to zero by mid-June. Revenue was minimal, peaking at $16 in early June.
Hero Wars: Alliance RPG from Nexters Global LTD demonstrated consistent performance. Revenue fluctuated, peaking at about $13.5K in mid-May and settling around $7.7K by the end of June. Downloads were relatively stable, starting at 606 in early April and ending at 275 by late June. WAU showed a gradual decline from 6.7K in early April to just over 5K by the end of June.
