In Q2 2024, the top 5 wellness apps on iOS in Brazil showed varying trends in downloads, revenue, and weekly active users. Here’s a breakdown of their performance:
Wellhub (Gympass) had consistent download numbers, starting the quarter with 25K downloads and ending with 22K. Weekly active users remained relatively stable, fluctuating between 257K and 285K.
ShutEye®: Sleep Tracker, Sound saw its revenue peak at nearly $19K in mid-April before gradually declining to $7.5K by the end of June. The app’s downloads followed a similar trend, starting strong at 22K in mid-April and dropping to 8.5K by late June. Weekly active users peaked at 32K in mid-April but saw a steady decline to 17K by the quarter's end.
Me+ Daily Routine Planner experienced variable revenue, peaking at $10K in mid-April and ending the quarter at around $7K. Downloads showed an upward trend mid-quarter, peaking at 18K in mid-April, and stabilizing at around 14K towards the end. Weekly active users increased from 66K at the start of April to 79K by the end of June.
Sleep Cycle - Tracker & Sounds saw a significant revenue increase in June, reaching up to $21K. Downloads surged dramatically in early June to 21K, maintaining higher levels compared to the start of the quarter. Weekly active users remained relatively stable, hovering around 34K to 35K.
Calm had a steady revenue stream, peaking at $10K by the end of June. Downloads saw a notable increase in June, with numbers rising to 11K from a low of just a few hundred in early May. Weekly active users were stable around 50K, with minor fluctuations throughout the quarter.
