In Q2 2024, the top 5 carpooling and ridesharing apps in Guatemala showcased varied performance trends across downloads and weekly active users. Data provided by Sensor Tower gives a comprehensive view of these trends.
Yango: taxi, food, delivery saw a fluctuating but overall positive trend in downloads, peaking at around 15.6K in late April. Active users increased steadily, starting from 38.1K in early April and reaching approximately 49.6K by mid-June.
inDrive. Save on city rides maintained a stable download rate, averaging around 10.4K downloads weekly. Active users showed a slight decline from 157.7K at the beginning of April to around 149.3K by the end of June.
Uber - Request a ride demonstrated consistent growth in downloads, starting at 7K in early April and rising to about 8.7K by the end of June. Weekly active users remained robust, fluctuating around the 1.1M mark but showing a peak of 1.14M in mid-June.
Uber - Driver: Drive & Deliver experienced a varied download pattern, with a notable increase to 12.1K in the final week of June. Active users also surged towards the end of the quarter, reaching approximately 61.4K.
DiDi Rider: Affordable rides had a consistent download rate, with a slight increase towards the end of the quarter, peaking at 572 downloads in mid-June. Active users hovered around the 8.9K mark, ending the quarter with roughly 9.2K active users.
