In the second quarter of 2024, the top five dating apps in Argentina showcased notable trends in downloads, revenue, and weekly active users. Here’s a closer look at their performance:
Tinder Dating App: Chat & Date experienced a steady rise in revenue, peaking at approximately $56K in mid-June. Downloads fluctuated, reaching a high of 31K in the week of June 17. Weekly active users saw a slight increase from 772K at the start of April to 774K by mid-June, before a drop to 723K at the end of the quarter.
Bumble Dating App: Meet & Date showed consistent revenue growth, with weekly earnings climbing from around $14K to $16K by late June. However, downloads saw a decline from 18K in early April to just over 10K at the end of the quarter. Weekly active users remained relatively stable, fluctuating around the 140K mark.
Kismia - Meet Singles Nearby saw significant revenue growth, starting at $6.5K in early April and reaching $9.3K by mid-June. Downloads varied, peaking at 15K in the week of June 17. Weekly active users remained relatively stable, hovering around 38K at the beginning of the quarter and ending at 33K.
Badoo: Dating. Chat. Friends maintained a steady revenue stream, peaking at $11K in early June. Downloads showed a slight downward trend, starting at 13K in early April and settling at around 9K by the end of June. Weekly active users fluctuated, peaking at 664K in late May and ending the quarter at 653K.
OmeTV – Video Chat Alternative demonstrated notable growth in both downloads and revenue. Revenue increased from $476 in early April to $786 by mid-June. Downloads surged, reaching 19K in the week of June 17. Weekly active users also saw a significant rise, starting at 43K and peaking at 68K by mid-June.
