In the second quarter of 2024, the free-to-play gaming landscape in Russia saw significant activity, with Pizza Ready!, Screw Puzzle: Wood Nut & Bolt, Roblox, Block Blast!, and Puzzles & Survival leading the charts. Here's a closer look at their performance:
Supercent, Inc.'s Pizza Ready! saw a peak in weekly revenue at the end of April, reaching around $376. Revenue experienced a decline towards the end of the quarter, settling at approximately $183 in the last week of June. Downloads showed a similar trend, peaking at over 312K in the first week of April and decreasing to about 102K by the end of June. Weekly active users also followed a downward trend, starting at 522K in early April and ending at 364K in late June.
ONESOFT GLOBAL PTE. LTD.'s Screw Puzzle: Wood Nut & Bolt exhibited a strong upward trend in revenue, starting from $32 in early April and reaching approximately $601 by the end of June. Downloads surged significantly, peaking at around 345K in mid-June before dropping to about 183K in the final week. Weekly active users also showed an impressive rise, starting at 137K in early April and peaking at 750K in mid-June, before declining slightly to 623K.
Roblox from Roblox Corporation maintained a strong presence in Russia with weekly revenue fluctuating around the $200K mark, peaking at $224K in the first week of April. Downloads showed a steady increase, reaching a high of approximately 260K in mid-June. Weekly active users consistently grew, starting at 10.4M in early April and reaching 11.4M by the end of June.
Hungry Studio's Block Blast! experienced a decline in downloads throughout the quarter, starting at 225K in early April and dropping to around 111K by the end of June. Weekly active users also saw a decrease, beginning at 886K and ending at 739K.
Puzzles & Survival by BUILDING-BLOCKS NETWORK TECHNOLOGY CO., LIMITED saw stable revenue figures throughout the quarter, with weekly revenue peaking at approximately $58K in early June. Downloads were highest in mid-April at around 247K, before stabilizing to about 137K by the end of June. Weekly active users followed a similar pattern, peaking at 371K in mid-April and ending at 288K in late June.
