Analyzing the performance of the top 5 insurance applications in El Salvador for the second quarter of 2024, we see varying trends in downloads and active users across a unified platform. Here’s a detailed look at each app's performance based on data from Sensor Tower.
RPN saw a fluctuating download trend throughout Q2. Starting at 265 downloads in the first week of April, the app experienced a dip, hitting a low of 126 downloads in the last week of April. However, it rebounded in June, peaking at 199 downloads in the last week. This app did not generate revenue during this period.
QMovil SV also showed variability in downloads. It began with 218 downloads in the first week of April, with numbers dropping to a low of 82 downloads by mid-June. The app ended the quarter with 117 downloads in the final week. Similar to RPN, QMovil SV did not produce any revenue during these months.
Futuro Movil maintained relatively stable download numbers throughout the quarter. Starting at 69 downloads in early April, the app saw minor fluctuations and finished with 54 downloads in the last week of June. Revenue data for Futuro Movil was not available for this period.
ASESUISA experienced a modest increase in downloads over the quarter. From 49 downloads in the first week of April, the app fluctuated, peaking at 80 downloads in the second week before closing at 62 downloads in the final week of June. No revenue was recorded for ASESUISA during Q2.
Universal Assistance exhibited a more dynamic performance. Downloads started at 37 in early April, spiking to 91 in the third week of May, and ending at 48 downloads in the last week of June. The app also showed a positive trend in weekly active users, starting at 139 and peaking at 207 in the third week of May, maintaining a stable count around 168 towards the end of June. Like the other apps, no revenue was generated in this quarter.
