This article delves into the downloads, revenue, and active user trends for these leading apps. The data, sourced from Sensor Tower, provides a comprehensive view of the market dynamics.
Google Maps experienced a steady increase in downloads, starting from around 4.1K in early April and rising to approximately 5.5K by the end of June. The app maintained robust weekly active users, peaking at around 1.2M towards the end of the quarter.
Google Earth saw a more fluctuating pattern in downloads, ranging from about 1.7K to 1.9K throughout the quarter. Active user numbers remained relatively stable, hovering between 15K and 16K weekly.
Traffic Alarm - Drive safely! from Geo24 ApS demonstrated consistent revenue growth, starting at around $3.7K in early April and climbing to nearly $4.9K by the end of June. Downloads fluctuated slightly, peaking at around 1K, while weekly active users remained steady at approximately 2.8K.
Waze Navigation & Live Traffic had a notable increase in downloads, beginning at around 600 and reaching nearly 1K by late June. Its active user base also showed a positive trend, growing from about 22K to almost 25K over the quarter.
Finally, Radarbot: Speed Cameras | GPS demonstrated a steady performance with revenue starting at $275 and reaching $331 by the end of June. Downloads varied between 460 and 730, while active users gradually increased from around 2.5K to 2.8K.
