In the second quarter of 2024, the top navigation apps in Ukraine showcased varied performance trends across downloads, revenue, and active user metrics. Here’s a detailed look at the performance of the leading navigation apps, based on data from Sensor Tower.

Google Maps saw fluctuating weekly downloads, starting the quarter strong with around 106K downloads in the first week of April but declining to approximately 42K by the end of June. Active users for Google Maps remained relatively stable, with a slight upward trend, peaking at about 1.32M in mid-June.

Waze Navigation & Live Traffic experienced a consistent pattern in weekly downloads, starting at 19.4K in early April and climbing to nearly 22K by the end of June. Active users also showed a steady increase, reaching around 272K by the last week of June.

Eway public transport reported modest weekly revenue, peaking at $110 in the first week of April and gradually decreasing to about $51 by the end of June. The app’s weekly downloads remained relatively stable, fluctuating between 13K and 16K. Active users showed a slight decline from 247K in early April to around 245K by the end of June.

Moovit: All Transit Options generated consistent weekly revenue, with a peak of approximately $852 in mid-April. Weekly downloads ranged from 7.5K to 9.8K throughout the quarter. The number of active users remained steady, hovering around 137K by the end of June.

ICW Connect had the lowest download numbers among the top apps, with weekly downloads varying from 1.1K to 3K. Despite the lower download figures, the app maintained a consistent presence in the Ukrainian market.
