In Q2 2024, the top 5 roguelike games on a unified platform in the United States demonstrated notable performance trends in terms of downloads, revenue, and weekly active users. Here’s a closer look at each game's performance, based on data from Sensor Tower.
Monster Survivors from Voodoo saw a significant rise in both downloads and revenue. Downloads increased from 23.6K in early April to 70.7K by the end of June. Revenue followed a similar trend, starting at around $16.6K and peaking at approximately $51.6K in mid-June. Weekly active users also surged, growing from 51.6K to 145.5K over the quarter.
Hero Wars: Alliance by Nexters Global LTD experienced fluctuations in revenue, peaking at $1.46M in mid-May and ending the quarter at around $1.04M. Downloads remained relatively stable, averaging around 44K weekly. Weekly active users showed a slight decrease from 155K in early April to approximately 151K by the end of June.
Legend of Mushroom, published by Joy Net Games, had a varied performance. Revenue started strong at $1.13M in early April but decreased to $779K by the end of June. Downloads saw a sharp decline from 94.1K to 23.8K over the same period. Despite this, weekly active users remained relatively high, ending the quarter at 263K.
Level Devil - NOT A Troll Game from Unept showed no revenue data but had notable download numbers. Downloads began at 44.6K in early April and decreased to 24.6K by the end of June. Weekly active users fluctuated slightly, peaking at 128K in early June and ending the quarter at 117K.
RAID: Shadow Legends by Plarium Global Ltd displayed strong revenue performance, starting at $2.29M in early April and maintaining over $1.79M by the end of June. Downloads remained consistent, averaging around 29K weekly, with a notable peak at 46.9K in late June. Weekly active users showed a slight decline from 148K to 145K throughout the quarter.
