Sensor Tower's latest data reveals interesting trends for the top 5 shopping apps in the US during Q2 2024.
Temu: Shop Like a Billionaire saw a fluctuating pattern in downloads, starting the quarter at approximately 42K and ending with a significant spike to 49K. The weekly active users for Temu displayed an upward trend, increasing from 549K in the first week to 676K by the end of June.
SHEIN - Shopping Online experienced a relatively stable quarter with downloads beginning at around 22K and peaking at 25K in the last week of June. The app's weekly active users saw a slight decline from 509K to 485K in mid-quarter, but rebounded to 524K by the quarter's end.
Lidl Plus had a mixed quarter with downloads peaking at 14K in April and ending at 9K in June. Weekly active users remained fairly consistent, hovering around 350K throughout the quarter.
Amazon showed a more volatile revenue trend with a high of $17K in weekly revenue and dropping to $8K in late May before recovering to $16K by the end of June. Downloads saw a dip from 9.5K to 7.7K, while weekly active users varied, starting at 604K and ending the quarter at 586K.
Vinted: Sell vintage clothes downloads started at approximately 10K and saw a downward trend, concluding the quarter at 6.8K. The app's weekly active users experienced a decline from 788K at the start of April to 733K in the last week of June.
