In the second quarter of 2024, Bolivia's top social networking applications displayed interesting trends in terms of downloads and revenue. The data, sourced from Sensor Tower, provides a comprehensive look at the performance of Facebook, WhatsApp Messenger, Telegram Messenger, Messenger, and Threads.
Facebook experienced consistent weekly revenue, peaking at approximately $343 in the final week of June. Weekly downloads varied, starting at around 75.8K in early April, dipping mid-quarter, and ending at about 65.6K in the last week of June.
WhatsApp Messenger maintained a steady weekly revenue of $1 throughout the quarter. Downloads showed fluctuations, beginning at 53.4K in early April, peaking at 62.3K in May, and concluding the quarter at 38.8K.
Telegram Messenger saw variable weekly revenue with a high of $225 in late April. Downloads began at 30.4K in early April, surged to nearly 60K by the end of the month, and tapered off to 22.9K by late June.
Messenger had modest weekly revenue, peaking at $82 in early April. Downloads were relatively stable, starting at 46K in the first week of April and closing at 37.5K by the end of June.
Threads did not generate any revenue during this period. The app's downloads were lower compared to its peers, beginning at 13.8K in early April, decreasing to 7.9K by the end of the month, and stabilizing at around 10.5K in the last week of June.
