In the third quarter of 2024, the top auto applications on the Android platform in France showed varied performance in terms of downloads, revenue, and weekly active users. Here’s a closer look at how these apps fared, based on data from Sensor Tower.
Code de la route 2024 & permis from En Voiture Simone saw a gradual increase in downloads throughout the quarter, starting at 8.4K in early July and peaking at 13.3K in mid-September. The weekly active users mirrored this trend, beginning at 26.5K and reaching up to 34.3K by mid-September. Interestingly, the app did not report any revenue during this period.
Code et Permis 2024 - Ornikar experienced fluctuations in downloads, with numbers ranging from 7.1K to 10.4K. Revenue showed a more dynamic pattern, starting at $16.8K and hitting a high of $20.5K in early September. Weekly active users remained relatively stable, averaging around 160K throughout the quarter.
Simplimmat, published by Agence Nationale des Titres Sécurisés, maintained a consistent download rate, starting at 7.3K and ending at 8.2K. Weekly active users also demonstrated steady growth, increasing from 9.2K to 10.8K over the quarter. Like Code de la route 2024 & permis, Simplimmat did not report any revenue.
Chargemap - Charging stations showed a steady increase in both downloads and revenue. Downloads grew from 4.8K to 7.9K, while revenue reached a peak of $1K in late August. The app's weekly active users also increased, from 24.5K to 28.4K by the end of September.
Finally, Code et Conduite 2024 by Stych reported a moderate increase in downloads, starting at 3.8K and peaking at 5.9K in late August. Revenue remained relatively low, fluctuating between $85 and $178. Unfortunately, data on weekly active users for this app was not available.
