During the third quarter of 2024, the carpooling and ridesharing app market on Android in Lithuania saw diverse trends across its top five applications, according to data from Sensor Tower.
Bolt: Request a Ride maintained a robust presence with weekly active users ranging from 114K at the start of July, peaking mid-quarter, and closing at approximately 113K by the end of September. Weekly downloads fluctuated slightly, starting at around 3.5K, dipping mid-quarter, and ending at 2.3K.
ETRANSPORT: Driver services experienced a remarkable surge in downloads, particularly in early August where downloads spiked to over 3K, before gradually declining to 245 by the end of September.
Uber - Request a ride showed consistent weekly downloads, maintaining a range between 545 and 838. Active users demonstrated a stable trend, starting at nearly 22K and reaching up to 24K by the end of August, before settling at around 23K.
Uber - Driver: Drive & Deliver kept a steady pattern in both downloads and active users. Weekly downloads ranged from 123 to 206, while active users fluctuated slightly, peaking at 735 mid-September and closing at 655 by the quarter's end.
Lastly, BananaCar maintained a modest presence with downloads starting at 157, gradually decreasing to 85 by the end of September.
