In the third quarter of 2024, the top dating applications on the Android platform in Greece exhibited varied performance in terms of downloads, revenue, and active user engagement. Here’s a closer look at how each app performed, based on data from Sensor Tower.
Boo: Dating. Friends. Chat. saw fluctuations in its weekly revenue, starting at around $1.7K and peaking at approximately $2.3K by the end of September. Downloads experienced a peak of about 3.5K in mid-August, while its active user base showed a steady increase, reaching over 7K in early August before stabilizing around 6.5K towards the end of the quarter.
OmeTV – Video Chat Alternative maintained a consistent revenue stream, peaking at over $4.3K in late July. Its download numbers varied, starting at nearly 3K and dipping to around 1.5K by mid-September. Active users remained robust, with numbers hovering around 20K, peaking at nearly 24.5K in late August.
Tinder Dating App: Chat & Date showcased strong revenue generation, starting at $33K and peaking at over $44K in mid-August. Downloads peaked at 3.5K in late July, while active users were consistently high, exceeding 50K in early August before slightly declining to 45K by the end of September.
Yope: Friends' groups had no revenue data but showed a notable spike in downloads, peaking at over 3.3K in mid-August. The app's active users also peaked at nearly 4K in early September, indicating a surge in user engagement during this period.
Blindchat - ελληνικό chat experienced modest revenue, starting at $1.6K and reaching around $2K in mid-September. Downloads remained relatively low, peaking at 1.4K in early July. Despite these figures, Blindchat maintained a steady presence in the market.
