During the third quarter of 2024, the top finance applications on the Android platform in Brazil showcased noteworthy performance trends, as reported by Sensor Tower.
Nubank: conta, cartão e mais maintained a strong presence with weekly downloads peaking at approximately 771K in mid-July. Although there was a gradual decline towards the end of September with downloads reaching about 445K, active users consistently hovered around the 44M mark, indicating a stable user base throughout the quarter.
PicPay: Conta, Cartão e Pix experienced a varied download pattern, starting at 316K and spiking to 348K in early August. Despite some fluctuation, active users showed resilience, closing the quarter at around 11.7M, which was a slight increase from the start.
Mercado Pago: cuenta digital saw weekly downloads fluctuate between 254K and 311K, with a notable peak in early September. The app's active user base grew steadily, reaching over 11.1M by the end of September, reflecting a positive trend in user engagement.
FGTS showed a dramatic rise in downloads, particularly in early August, peaking at over 320K. However, by the end of the quarter, downloads had decreased to 220K. Active users displayed a similar pattern, peaking at 5.5M in early August before settling at 4.5M by the end of September.
Inter&Co: Financial APP experienced a steady download rate, reaching a high of 343K in late July, followed by a gradual decline to 230K by the end of September. Active users remained relatively stable, with minor fluctuations, closing the quarter at approximately 11.3M.
