In the third quarter of 2024, the top finance applications on the Android platform in Germany showcased varied performance trends, as highlighted by Sensor Tower data.
PayPal - Pay, Send, Save maintained a strong presence with its weekly downloads experiencing a steady climb from 39.7K in early July to a peak of 55.6K by late September. This app also saw a consistent rise in weekly active users, starting at 4.9M and reaching over 5M by the end of the quarter.
Google Wallet showed a similar upward trajectory in weekly downloads, beginning with 34.9K and culminating at 67.9K. Its active user base followed suit, expanding from approximately 1.3M to 1.7M over the same period.
Tonkeeper — TON Wallet experienced fluctuations in its weekly downloads, with numbers starting at 40K, spiking to 79.4K mid-September, and then dropping to 19.2K by the end of the month. Active users also varied, peaking at 168.4K before settling at 126K. Notably, revenue began to manifest towards the end of the quarter, reaching $1.3K in the final week.
S-pushTAN - sichere Freigaben displayed a stable download trend, fluctuating slightly around the 25K to 33K mark. Weekly active users saw a dip and subsequent recovery, starting at 1.7M and closing the quarter near 1.9M.
Sparkasse Ihre mobile Filiale maintained a consistent download volume, hovering between 24K and 29K. The app's active user base was robust, starting at 4.9M and climbing to 5.1M by the end of September.
