In the third quarter of 2024, the top-performing finance applications on the Android platform in France showcased varying trends in weekly downloads and active user engagement, as per data from Sensor Tower.
Google Wallet saw a notable increase in weekly downloads, starting from around 34K in early July and reaching approximately 59K by the end of September. The app's weekly active users also rose steadily from about 968K to over 1.17M, indicating growing engagement throughout the quarter.
Revolut: Spend, Save, Trade experienced a gradual rise in weekly downloads, beginning at 30K in early July and climbing to nearly 39K by the end of September. The app's active user base expanded from approximately 533K to 648K, reflecting consistent user adoption over the quarter.
Paylib, le paiement mobile maintained a steady download rate, with figures starting at 31K in July and ending at about 34K in September. Meanwhile, its weekly active users showed a slight increase from 52K to 53K, suggesting stable user interaction.
PayPal - Pay, Send, Save recorded weekly downloads ranging from 22K to 26K throughout the quarter. The active user count was robust, beginning at over 1.57M and peaking at approximately 1.76M by the end of September, indicating a strong user base.
Lastly, BoursoBank displayed fluctuations in weekly downloads, starting at 21K and rising to nearly 29K. The app's weekly active users increased from about 828K to 918K, suggesting growing user engagement.
