In the third quarter of 2024, the top food delivery apps in France showcased varied performances on the Android platform. Here's a closer look at how Too Good To Go: End Food Waste, Uber Eats: Food Delivery, Jow - easy recipes & groceries, Deliveroo: Food & Shopping, and HelloFresh: Meal Kit Delivery performed.
Too Good To Go: End Food Waste saw a notable rise in weekly downloads, starting from around 14.4K in early July and climbing steadily to over 30K by the end of September. Its weekly active users also increased significantly, beginning at 662K and reaching nearly 922K by the quarter's end.
Uber Eats: Food Delivery maintained a fairly stable download rate, with a slight uptick from approximately 14K in mid-July to over 21K in the last week of September. The app's weekly active users fluctuated around the mid-600K range, peaking at about 724K at the end of the quarter.
Jow - easy recipes & groceries exhibited a strong growth trajectory, with weekly downloads increasing from 9.4K in early July to over 20K by September. The app's weekly revenue also rose markedly, from $694 to approximately $2.6K. Weekly active users followed a similar trend, growing from 134K to about 181K.
Deliveroo: Food & Shopping experienced a gradual increase in downloads, moving from 8.5K to over 11.5K by the end of September. Its active user base expanded from 225K to nearly 237K over the same period.
Lastly, HelloFresh: Meal Kit Delivery witnessed a steady rise in downloads, with numbers starting at 2K and climbing to over 10K by early September before tapering off slightly. The app's weekly active users remained relatively stable, hovering around the 14K mark throughout the quarter.
