During the third quarter of 2024, Sensor Tower data reveals noteworthy trends in the performance of the top five food delivery apps on the Android platform in Sweden. Each app showcased unique patterns in terms of downloads and active user engagement.
Too Good To Go: End Food Waste experienced a notable rise in weekly downloads, beginning at around 2.4K in early July and peaking at 4.3K in early September. The app's weekly active users mirrored this upward trajectory, growing from approximately 85.9K to 98.5K over the quarter.
foodora: Food & Groceries showed a consistent pattern in weekly downloads, starting at about 2.1K and reaching up to 2.9K by the end of September. Active user numbers exhibited a slight fluctuation, maintaining a range between 27.1K and 29.9K throughout the quarter.
Wolt Delivery: Food and more maintained a steady flow of downloads, fluctuating between 1.4K and 2.1K. The app saw a gradual increase in active users, starting at roughly 24K and ending the quarter at around 25.3K.
Matsmart experienced a varied download pattern with a peak of 1.8K in mid-September, followed by a decline to 766 by the end of the month. Unfortunately, active user data for Matsmart was not available.
HelloFresh: Meal Kit Delivery witnessed an increase in weekly downloads, beginning at 301 in early July and reaching 1.9K in mid-August. Active user numbers showed a similar rise, from around 33.5K to 44.5K over the quarter.
