In the third quarter of 2024, the insurance app landscape on the Android platform in France saw notable trends. Leading the charge was Compte ameli, which experienced a consistent rise in downloads, starting from approximately 28K in early July and climbing to nearly 38K by the end of September. Weekly active users, however, fluctuated, beginning at 215K, dipping mid-quarter, and recovering to about 225K.
Mon AXA Assurance showed a varied pattern in downloads, peaking at around 9.7K in early September before settling at roughly 7.6K by the end of the quarter. Active user numbers remained relatively stable, ranging from 77K to 85K, demonstrating a solid user base.
MACIF saw a decline in downloads from 9.3K in mid-July to about 7.2K by the end of September. Its weekly active users followed a similar pattern, starting at 30K, dipping mid-quarter, and ending at nearly 29K.
e-constat auto maintained a steady download rate, with a notable spike to 6.7K in mid-September. Active users mirrored this trend, peaking at 6.4K around the same time, indicating increased engagement during that period.
Lastly, Mes Assurances experienced a fluctuating download rate, reaching a high of 5.8K in early September. Active users increased from 7.4K at the quarter's start to 9.2K in early September, before settling at 7.2K.
