In the third quarter of 2024, the Android insurance app market in Ireland saw varying performance among the top five applications, according to Sensor Tower data.
The Vhi app had a consistent download pattern, starting at around 1K downloads per week in July and maintaining this level throughout the quarter, with slight fluctuations. The highest spike occurred in the week of September 9, reaching approximately 1.2K downloads.
The Laya App displayed a gradual increase in downloads over the quarter. Starting with 506 downloads at the beginning of July, it climbed to 616 by the end of September, with a notable rise in the last week.
Irish Life Health Members experienced modest download numbers, beginning at 321 weekly downloads. A peak was observed in the week of August 19, with downloads reaching 507, before settling to 386 downloads by the end of the quarter.
The MyAllianz MY app started with lower download numbers, showing a gradual increase from 106 in the first week of July to a peak of 226 downloads in the last week of September.
Finally, Zego Delivery recorded a steady rise in downloads from 32 at the start of July to a high of 125 in the week of August 19, with fluctuations settling at 83 downloads by the end of September.
