The third quarter of 2024 highlighted significant trends among the top five MOBA apps on the Android platform in Brazil. Here’s a detailed look at their performance, based on data from Sensor Tower.
Brawl Stars from Supercell showed a dynamic pattern in both downloads and revenue. Weekly downloads peaked in early September at around 183K, while revenue reached its highest at approximately $164K in the same period. Active users witnessed a notable increase from early August, culminating in about 6.7M by the end of September.
League of Legends: Wild Rift maintained a fairly stable trajectory with weekly revenue fluctuating between $55K and $94K, with a peak at the start of August. Downloads started at 24K in early July, gradually declining to about 18K by the end of the quarter. Active users hovered around 300K, showing minor fluctuations throughout the period.
Mobile Legends: Bang Bang experienced a varied quarter. The app's weekly downloads saw a peak of 40K in late July, while revenue reached its highest in early August at around $41K. Active users remained relatively stable, averaging around 1M, with slight fluctuations.
Honor of Kings exhibited a steady performance in the Brazilian market. Downloads started strong at 39K in early July but decreased to about 10K by the end of September. Revenue saw minor variations, peaking at roughly $27K in early September. Active users remained consistent, with a slight increase towards the end of the quarter, reaching about 780K.
Squad Busters, also from Supercell, showed a unique pattern with an initial spike in downloads at 127K in early July, followed by a decline and a resurgence to 37K by the end of September. Revenue experienced fluctuations, peaking at $40K in early July. Active users began at nearly 292K, dropping mid-quarter and stabilizing around 132K by September's end.
