In the third quarter of 2024, the top five MOBA applications on the Android platform in the United Arab Emirates demonstrated varied performance trajectories in terms of downloads, revenue, and active users. This analysis, based on data from Sensor Tower, provides insights into the performance of these popular apps.
Mobile Legends: Bang Bang displayed a fluctuating revenue pattern, starting at approximately $23K in early July and settling around $16.8K at the end of September. Its weekly downloads peaked at 3.7K in late July, with another significant rise to 3.5K in late September. Active users showed resilience, growing from about 31.8K at the start of the quarter to 37.2K by the end.
For Brawl Stars, revenue experienced a dip early in the quarter but rebounded to around $12.2K in early September. Downloads surged notably to 5.4K in early September, while active users peaked at 35.6K in early September before concluding the quarter with 32K users.
Honor of Kings saw modest revenue, peaking at approximately $1.5K towards the end of September. However, downloads and active users trended downward, with downloads falling from 2.8K in early July to just 249 by the end of September, and active users decreasing from 7.2K to around 2.9K.
Squad Busters experienced a decline in revenue from $5.7K at the beginning of July to $2.2K by the end of September. Downloads mirrored this trend, dropping from 2.2K to 227 over the quarter. Active users started strong at 14.9K but fell sharply to 142 by the end of September.
Lastly, Moba League:PvP Trainer had a notable spike in downloads, peaking at 7.1K in early September before plummeting to 3 by mid-September. Active user numbers decreased from 4.3K in early September to 675 by the end of the quarter.
