In the third quarter of 2024, the mobile MOBA gaming landscape in Spain saw notable trends across the top five applications on the Android platform. According to data from Sensor Tower, these apps demonstrated varied performance in terms of weekly downloads, revenue, and active users.
Brawl Stars from Supercell experienced a dynamic quarter with weekly revenue peaking at approximately $220K in early September. Download trends saw a decline from 53K in early July to around 21K by the end of September. Meanwhile, active users decreased from 3.2M to about 2.5M over the same period.
Squad Busters, also by Supercell, displayed a fluctuating revenue pattern, starting at $33K in early July and settling around $19K by the end of September. Downloads showed a downward trend, beginning at 25K and dropping to approximately 4K. Active users fluctuated, with a notable dip mid-quarter but ended with around 54K users.
Pokémon UNITE by The Pokémon Company saw modest revenue figures, with a peak of about $4.5K in late July. Download numbers started strong at 8K in July but decreased significantly to 2K by the end of September. Active users remained relatively stable, maintaining around 18K towards the end of the quarter.
Honor of Kings from Level Infinite showed a steady decline in downloads, starting at 15K and falling to less than 1K by the end of September. Revenue also saw a decrease from $12K to about $8K. Active users dropped from 24K to approximately 10K in the same period.
Mobile Legends: Bang Bang by Moonton had a stable revenue stream, peaking at $18K in early August and closing the quarter at $15K. Downloads peaked mid-quarter with 6.5K before settling at 5.8K. Active users showed a positive trend, increasing from 23K to 32K by the end of the quarter.
