In the third quarter of 2024, the Finnish Android shopping app market saw notable trends across the top five applications. According to data from Sensor Tower, these apps demonstrated varying patterns in weekly downloads and active users.
Temu: Shop Like a Billionaire showed a consistent engagement with its users. Weekly downloads began at around 5.2K in early July and peaked at 5.8K by the end of the month, before experiencing a gradual decline to approximately 3.3K by the end of September. The app maintained a stable user base, starting the quarter with about 144K weekly active users, peaking at 147K mid-quarter, and closing at approximately 141K.
The Tokmanni app's downloads displayed a downward trend over the quarter. Starting with 5K downloads in the first week of July, the numbers decreased to around 2.4K by the end of September.
Lidl Plus experienced a notable increase in downloads towards the end of the quarter, with figures rising from 3.8K in early July to a peak of 5.9K in early September. The app's active user base also showed a positive trend, growing from 395K to over 408K by late September.
For K-Ruoka, downloads began at 3.6K and reached a high of 5.6K in mid-September. The active user count started at 53K and saw a minor decline, ending the quarter at around 43K.
Finally, S-kaupat maintained a steady performance. Weekly downloads hovered around 2.1K, with a slight increase towards the end of the period. The active users remained quite stable, starting at 35K and ending at approximately 37K.
