State of AI Apps Report 2025 is Live!
In the third quarter of 2024, the survival game genre on the Android platform in Russia showcased varying performance trends across the top five apps. These insights, sourced from Sensor Tower, provide a closer look at the weekly downloads and active user metrics for each game.
ESCAPE FROM TIMOKHA, developed by Heartland Studio, saw its weekly downloads start at around 181K in late July, peaking at 250K by the end of the month. However, a decline followed, with downloads stabilizing around 87K to 115K in September. Active users showed a consistent rise, beginning at approximately 182K and reaching 377K by the end of the quarter.
The Baby In Yellow by Team Terrible experienced fluctuating weekly downloads, starting at 35K in early July and peaking at 61K in late August before descending to 35K by the end of September. The active user count mirrored this trend, beginning at 154K and peaking at 220K in late August, then settling at 157K by the quarter's end.
Raft® Survival - Ocean Nomad, from Survival Games Ltd, displayed a gradual increase in downloads through July, reaching a peak of approximately 36K in early August, followed by a gradual decline to 24K by late September. The active user base grew from 80K to a peak of 119K mid-August before tapering off to 88K by the end of the quarter.
Hide in The Backrooms: Horror, published by CASUAL AZUR GAMES, had a notable surge in downloads from 20K in early July to a peak of 49K in mid-August, stabilizing around 24K towards the end of September. Active users steadily increased from 558K to 630K over the quarter.
Finally, The Walking Zombie 2: Shooter by Alda Games, showed varied download trends, starting at 13K, peaking at 34K in early September, and ending the quarter at 21K. Active users increased from 88K in early July to a high of 152K in early September, with a slight decrease to 120K by the end of September.
