In the third quarter of 2024, the top truck games on Android in South Africa showed varied performance in terms of downloads, revenue, and active users. Here's a closer look at the trends for each app, based on data from Sensor Tower.
Truck Star by Century Games PTE. LTD. saw a notable increase in weekly revenue, peaking at approximately $1.1K by the end of September. Weekly downloads fluctuated, reaching a high of 8.5K in early August, while weekly active users climbed steadily from 12.8K to 21K throughout the quarter.
Truck Simulator : Ultimate from Zuuks Games experienced a modest growth in weekly revenue, reaching $218 in mid-August. The app's downloads showed a downward trend, starting at 5.1K in early July and dropping to 2.8K by the end of September. Active users followed a similar pattern, decreasing from 14.5K to 11.8K over the quarter.
Truckers of Europe 3, published by Wanda Software, maintained a stable revenue stream, with weekly figures hovering around $76 to $122. Downloads remained strong, averaging around 10K per week, while active users saw a rise from 61.8K to 74.5K by the end of the quarter.
World Truck Driving Simulator by Dynamic Games Ltda showed minimal revenue changes, with weekly earnings ranging between $27 and $53. Downloads started at 1.3K in early July and increased to 1.3K by the end of September. Active users slightly dipped from 1.6K to 1.7K over the quarter.
Grand Truck Simulator 2 from Pulsar GameSoft had a steady revenue performance, peaking at $29 in the last week of September. Downloads remained consistent, starting at 4.5K and ending at 2.8K, while active users remained relatively stable around the 10K mark throughout the quarter.
