During the third quarter of 2024, the top five tycoon games on the Android platform in Italy demonstrated diverse trends in downloads, revenue, and active user engagement, according to Sensor Tower data.
Township from Playrix experienced a notable increase in weekly revenue, culminating at approximately $42.2K in late September. The game saw a mid-quarter peak in downloads, reaching about 9K in the week of August 19, while active users fluctuated, starting at around 312K and ending the quarter at approximately 270K.
Office Cat: Idle Tycoon Game by TREEPLLA saw a peak in weekly downloads of over 12K in mid-July, before settling down to about 1.6K by the end of September. Revenue peaked at $2.3K in late July and gradually declined to around $856. Active users also showed an initial rise, peaking at over 20K in late July, before declining to approximately 7.7K.
Business Empire: RichMan from AAA Fun, while not generating revenue, maintained a steady download rate, starting at about 8.2K and tapering off to 2.8K by the end of the quarter. Active user numbers remained relatively stable, fluctuating between 25K and 37K throughout the period.
Hay Day by Supercell showed a stable performance in weekly downloads, averaging around 3.9K. Revenue peaked at $32.4K in the final week of September, while active users saw a slight decrease, starting at 115K and ending at approximately 109K.
My Cruise: Idle ship Tycoon from Focus apps had a steady increase in downloads, peaking at nearly 5K in early September. Revenue remained low, with a slight peak at $213 in early September. Active users consistently grew, reaching a peak of 28.8K in early September before slightly declining towards the end of the quarter.
